First Weekend Of July Events
Several weekend events follow up local Fourth of July Celebrations. Remember to drink lots of water and protect you skin from the sun while you enjoy the events of the first weekend of July.
The 41st Annual ‘Sierra Nevada Arts & Crafts Festival’ begins with a parade 10am on Saturday in Arnold. For more about the parade view “Arnold Independence Day Parade Tomorrow” here. The Ebbett’s Pass Volunteer Fire Department sponsors the event serving local Calaveras County beers and barbecue, along with music and over 60 booths of fine art, crafts, food, and face painting. The ReHorse Rescue is hosting an Open House in its Jamestown location. They are promoting their Summer Hay Drive and want the community to meet the horses. Directions are in the ReHorse Rescue Open House event listing.
Railtown 1897 State Historic Park is open all weekend for a uniquely American experience for times visit the event listing.
