Graduates Bidding Farewell
Columbia, CA — Columbia College will hold its 43rd annual Commencement this evening.
This year there are 117 associate in arts degrees, 84 associate in science degrees, 23 associate in science (occupational education) degrees, and 85 certificates of achievement.
The Commencement begins at 6:30pm at the Oak Pavilion. The welcome address will be delivered by Stephanie Romero, Vice President of Associated Students of Columbia. The student graduation address will be delivered by Gina Davenport, and the concluding student farewell will be by Ryan Hodge.
College President Dr. Dennis Gervin will introduce members of the class of 2012, and he will be joined on stage by YCCD Trustees Dr. Lynn Martin and Linda Flores.
The ceremony is open to the public.
