Golf Game Raises $51,000
Copperopolis, CA — Sonora Regional Medical Center’s 16th Annual Golf Classic raised $51,000 for free mobile health clinic. Gail Witzlsteiner, SRMC Director of Development & Public Relations, says it was “a big success thanks to the contributions of sponsors, donors, players and volunteers.”
The event was held on Wednesday, June 6, at Saddle Creek Resort in Copperopolis. $51,000 was raised to support Project HOPE, a three-times-a-week, free health clinic at the Crossroads Shopping Center, InterFaith and Columbia College.
The Medical Center thanked the to Tournament Sponsors. The Golf Classic Committee was chaired by Joe Silva, Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools, and was joined by committee members Bill Brandt, Katie Dunn, Larry Jobe, Elizabeth Jones, Bob Laukat, Lisa Mayo, Jim Mele, Lisa Melville, Tom Nischwitz, Anne Patel, Mark Steichen and Cindy Zelinsky.
