Prep Football Teams Begin Postseason

The regular season has wrapped up, and some high school football teams are heading to the playoffs.
The 8-2 Summerville Bears have received a 12th seed in the Division Four Sac-Joaquin section playoffs. They will take on the 5th seed Los Banos on Friday night. Calaveras High (8-2) is a ninth seed and will travel to Escalon. The top eight seeds have home field advantage.
Summerville finished out the regular season with a 35-14 win Friday over Linden, and Calaveras defeated county rival Bret Harte 51-24.
