Calaveras County’s Administrator Steps Down
Calaveras County, CA — Calaveras County’s Administrator Jeanne Boyce handed in her resignation at last night’s Board of Supervisors meeting. Boyce says she is retiring to spend more time with her family.
Boyce says, “I’ve had really good fortune in working with so many different elected officials, appointed officials, county officials, public agencies, community organizations, and families; all have been wonderful. I feel very blessed. I will miss lots of people here in Calaveras County, although, I am not moving. I’m staying in the area. I’m just really grateful for the opportunities that I’ve had and the friendships that I’ve made.”
Boyce took over as chief administrative officer in November of 2009, before that she served as the director of the county’s Health Services Agency. Her last day will be December 30th.
