Roundup Coronation Sunday
Sonora, CA — Five candidates are hoping to become the 2011 Mother Lode Roundup Queen. The candidates are Casie Brantley, Shannon Ferriera, Cat Gulizia, Ashley Taylor and Reiley Wivell.
Roundup General Chairman John Egger says the girls are judged in a variety of categories, including their performance Sunday evening and the horsemanship competition the day before at the fairgrounds. The horsemanship event starts at 10am Saturday and is open to the public. The doors will open for the coronation at 5pm Sunday at the Sonora Elks Lodge. There is a $10 fee. Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served.
