A Father’s Day Tradition
Columbia, CA– It’s been an annual tradition for 45 years. Columbia Airport’s Father’s Day Fly-In is happening this weekend.
Festivities kick off this morning with a pancake breakfast served by the local Boy Scout Troop 570 at 7 am in the Pavilion on the Columbia Airport campground.
It will then be followed by a full day of fly-ins, aircraft displays and flight demonstrations.
On Sunday, the pancake breakfast will again be served at 7 am and then the flour bombing and spot landing contests began at 11:30 am. Fly-bys and flight demonstrations will follow the flour bombing/spot landing contests.
On both Saturday and Sunday, vendors will be selling food and other items from 9 am to 4 pm.
