Kopf Discusses Tuolumne County Business Council
For the past seven months, Ron Kopf has been the Executive Director of the Tuolumne County Business Council.
Kopf was Wednesday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.
Kopf was hired to be the Executive Director after the Council parted ways several months ago with Jim Conklin.
A non-profit organization founded in 2008, The Tuolumne County Business Council is a diverse group of business leaders sharing their professional and personal experiences to help address local challenges. Their goal is to address challenges facing the area in a positive and constructive manner.
Kopf is the former Operations Manager of Mountain Springs and has recently been involved with the Gold Rush Gardens project proposed for the Jamestown Mine site.
Under the direction of the Executive Committee, Kopf is responsible for overall management and operation of the Tuolumne County Business Council and protection of the financial assets while ensuring compliance with board directives and applicable federal and state requirements.
Kopf also attends weekly Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors meetings, interacts with city and county employees as well as maintain regular contact with its’ business members and potential members.
