Strategic Plan Meetings Wrapped
Columbia, CA — District Five hosted the final Tuolumne County Strategic Plan public meeting Tuesday evening.
Fifth District Supervisor Dick Pland hosted the meeting before another outstanding turnout that included the other four supervisors and County staff at the Church of the 49er.
Pland noted that the chief topics of conversation included the ability of the County to provide expected services through law enforcement and fire protection. Jobs also proved to be a key issue.
County staff will now assemble and condense the notes and comments taken from the five meetings along with those from the District Three Town Hall meeting at Summerville High School. Two Town Hall meetings remain on the schedule; March 3 District Four Supervisor John Gray will host a gathering at the Hacienda in the Lake Don Pedro area and on March 10 District Supervisor Paolo Maffei will do the same at the Phoenix Lake County Club.
With a few more entries to be tabulated, 1,112 people have responded to the County’s on-line survey for input for the Five Year Strategic Plan.
