Business Alliance Launched
Sonora, CA — A group of Tuolumne County entities have formed an alliance to provide free business consultation for small businesses.
It is a partnership between the Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce, Tuolumne County Economic Development Authority, S.C.O.R.E. and Small Business Development Center.
Based on the business needs and number of employees, a business consultant may be assigned free of charge. The consultant will provide help creating a marketing plan, developing a budget or designing a website.
“Small businesses are the backbone of our economy in Tuolumne County,” says Chamber of Commerce President and CEO George Segarini. “This will be a one stop shop for basically all the needs of a small business.”
The concept of creating a Business Alliance between the four major service entities was suggested by E.D.A. Director Larry Cope in December. Three months later, the project is poised to provide free workshops and mentoring services. For more information call 209-677-7822, or visit www.thebusinessalliance.net.
