High School Seniors Say Goodbye
Sonora, CA – Around 240 Sonora High School seniors received diplomas at a graduation ceremony Thursday evening at Dunlavy Field.
Sonora High Principal Todd Dearden was KVML’s “Newsmaker of the Day” Friday.
“It was a beautiful night and we enjoyed the ceremony,” says Dearden. “The kids were well behaved and it was great to see the acknowledgement of their hard work.”
Ted Bird High, Cassina High and Adult Education graduated Wednesday.
Bret Harte High will hold a ceremony this evening at 7:30pm at the football field.
Summerville High/Connections Academy will graduate tonight at 8pm at the football field.
Don Pedro High graduation is coming up Saturday at 2pm at the gymnasium, Tioga High will graduate Tuesday at 6pm at Mary Laveroni Park and Calaveras High will graduate on Wednesday at 7:30pm at the football field.
The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard on AM 1450 KVML each weekday morning at 6:47, 7:47 and 8:47am.
