Traffic Fatality In Groveland

The C.H.P. was on the scene of a traffic fatality in the Groveland area on Saturday.
Initial reports show that the accident occured shortly after 4:00PM on Saturday afternoon on Upper Skyridge Drive near Pine Mountain Drive.
After arriving at the scene, authorities confirmed the fatality at 4:29PM.
The Tuolumne County Sheriff/Coroner was notified and was expected to arrive around 5:45pm.
The CHP reported that the victim was a female who appeared to not be wearing a seatbelt. Any possibility of alcohol being involved, was also being investigated.
