Angels Camp Promotes “Kindness”
Angels Camp, CA — Have you met all of the nice people in Angels Camp?
This week has been proclaimed “Kindness Week” by the Angels Camp City Council. The local Seeds of Kindness Committee has created “Pass It On” personal kindness ribbons, and residents are encouraged to pass them along to someone whenever a kind action is witnessed.
Local students have placed the ribbons along a mile stretch in downtown Angels Camp, according to Committee Member Jim Bergantz.
Later tonight, student winners of a kindness essay contest at Mark Twain Elementary School will be honored by the Angels Camp City Council.
Angels Camp was proclaimed a “Kindness Zone” by the City Council in 1995.
