Supervisor Murrison Hosts Six Part Video Series on the Community of Tuolumne
Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors Chairperson, Teri Murrison, recently wrapped up hosting a six part video series on the community of Tuolumne.
Murrison was KVML’s Friday Newsmaker of the Day.
Murrison claims, "It was one of the most fun things that I’ve ever done. In this video series, I take the viewers through the past, present and future of Tuolumne."
In exploring the history of Tuolumne, Murrison spoke with several long time residents and historians, including a few residents who are now in their 80’s and 90’s. Murrison wanted to find out what made Tuolumne work as a logging community and it’s overall role in the County.
Murrison says that presently, residents take tremendous pride in their surroundings and guard the area jealously.
According to Murrision, Tuolumne is a well planned "Smart Growth" community with a promising future that she is excited about and shares her enthusiasm in the video.
Copies of the video series can be ordered by logging onto terimurrison.com and letting her know that you’re interested in a personal copy.
The Newsmaker of the Day can be heard each weekday morning at 6:47, 7:47 and 8:47 on AM-1450 KVML.
