Summer Tuition Set To Increase At U.C. Campuses

Berkeley, CA — The chancellor of the University of California’s flagship campus says tuition across the system is expected to increase by nearly 10 percent for the summer session.
UC Berkeley Chancellor Robert Birgeneau says the budget shortfall is the reason for the increase. The governing UC Board of Regents is expected to approve the student tuition increases in May for the 10-campus system.
