Sonora Express Mart Employee Jailed On Five Charges
Sonora, CA — 29 year old Jagjit Singh of Sonora was arrested by Sonora Police and booked into the County Jail Tuesday on charges of burglary, theft from a dependent adult, possession of stolen property, theft by use of an access card and fraudulent use of an access card.
Tuesday an unidentified subject contacted the S.P.D. reporting that his dependent adult son’s debit card had been stolen while he was at the Sonora Express on Hwy 49.
Shortly thereafter the debit card was used at Gold County Gas and Pak N Save. Officers observed Singh using the card on video surveillance and proceeded to contact him at his residence where they located most of the items he had purchased with the stolen access card.
