McDonalds Will Go Before Sonora Planning Commission

Sonora, CA — McDonalds is planning to open a second Sonora area drive thru restaurant on Mono Way east of the Timber Hills Shopping Center.
McDonalds USA, LLC has submitted design review documents to the City of Sonora, and they will be up for approval on Monday during the 7pm Planning Commission meeting at City Hall.
Community Development Director Ed Wyllie says the 3,849 sq. ft. restaurant would be located on property at 1261-1265 Mono Way. Two standing buildings would be demolished and removed.
McDonalds also has a restaurant in the Junction Shopping Center.
