Fremont Resident Arrested On DUI Charge

San Andreas, CA — 20 year old Troy Chapman spent an unexpected Saturday morning in the Calaveras County Jail after being arrested for driving-under-the-influence.
The 20 year old Fremont resident was eastbound on Hwy 4 approaching Northwood Drive East. According to the CHP report Chapman was driving at a high rate of speed in addition to driving drunk.
He drove off the right edge of the roadway and up an embankment. His 1997 Jeep overturned approximately one-and-a-half times before coming to rest in the westbound lane.
Chapman suffered only minor injuries and was treated at Mark Twain-St. Joseph’s Hospital.
