Dr. Cox Joins Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital Medical Staff
San Andreas, CA — Charles Cox, M.D., has joined the medical staff at Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital and will practice medicine at the Silver Oak Medical Office in San Andreas.
Dr. Cox specializes in clinical gastroenterology and will provide consultative and procedural services for a full range of digestive disorders.
Dr. Cox states, “I am very pleased to be a part of the hospital’s medical staff and to provide services to the Calaveras residents. I strongly believe that the addition of specialized GI services to the existing capabilities of the medical staff will greatly improve the overall health status of the community.”
After receiving his Medical Degree from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Dr. Cox completed his Medicine Residency at Highland Hospital in Oakland. Most recently he practiced medicine at the Alameda County Medical Center. On a personal note, he has participated in several Ironman Triathlons, including nine Ironman Triathlon World Championships in Hawaii.
