Sierra Nevada Winter Storm Warning Friday – Saturday

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Sierra Nevada mountains from Friday 1 PM through Saturday 7 AM.
Snow levels could drop to as low as 3000 feet.
Five to ten inches of snow is possible between 4500 to 7000 feet in the Sierra. A foot or two of snow is likely at the higher elevations.
Gusty winds of 65 mph or more will accompany this storm over the ridgetops.
Currently, Highway 108 (Sonora Pass) is closed at Kennedy Meadows. Highway 4 (Ebbetts Pass) is closed at Mt. Reba turnoff. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) is closed at Crane Flat.
