Calaveras Board Closing March Meetings Today

San Andreas, CA — There are a number of key items that will be discussed and perhaps acted upon today by the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors.

A resolution will take place authorizing the execution of a notice of completion and acceptance of the County Airport Improvements Project.

At 11am a discussion and possible action is scheduled regarding the abolishment of the Office of the County Road Commissioner and assigning those functions to the Director of Transportation and Public Works.

30 minutes later there will be discussion and possible action regarding a resolution authorizing application for a local adult detention facility AB900 construction grant with the understanding that Sheriff Dennis Downum would sign the grant application.
