County Supervisors Prepare For Tuesday Meetings

Sonora & San Andreas, Ca — The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors will discuss a written response that has been formulated in regards to the 2007-08 Grand Jury Report, when the Board meets on Tuesday.

The report questioned the hiring former Community Development Director Stephanie Moreno and pointed out the need for an improved jail facility. The Board will also vote on whether to approve an agreement between the County and Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc. for inpatient psychiatric hospital services.

Meanwhile in Tuolumne County, the Supervisors will vote on whether to create a Real Estate Fraud Prosecution Trust Fund to deposit and use funds raised by a fee on recording real estate documents to investigate and prosecute real estate fraud crimes.
