Parents Honored In Calaveras

San Andreas, CA — Tuesday several parents in Calaveras County were honored for their leadership skills and work with children.

The Board of Supervisors bestowed the honor to various parents within their districts.

The following is that list:

District 1: Kathlyene Carlson, Marilyn Appling, Jennifer Marquez, Lisa Gossett, Josephina Querada-Gardea and Veronica and John Pargett.

District2: Jamie Hollingsworth, Hope Baird, Jennie Schaad and Susie Durham.

District 3: Sally Gulizia, Marilyn Pyle and Karen Rojas.

District 4: Angels Camp Police Officer Jum McKeon and Jill Sullivan.

District 5: Phil and Liz Weaver, Rebecca Beasley and Mike and Jennifer Bonomo.

The awards are put together every year by the Prevent Child Abuse Council.
