Sonora’s Authier To Be Honored In Sacramento

Sonora, CA — Sonora´s Paula Authier will be in the spotlight come October 3 when she is recognized by the California Reinvestment Coalition at its Sacramento Valley Reinvestment and Honor Community Heroes Celebration.

Authier has been identified for her honor as a tireless advocate of inclusionary housing, a policy that is scheduled to be revisited by the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors Tuesday, September 18th.

Authier has spent many hours of volunteer time for affordable workforce housing both on the Housing Affordability Task Force and other organizations.

She has also been involved in bringing to the attention of community leaders the Blueprint Planning Process which the county is now undertaking. This would enable the jurisdiction to be eligible for future grants.
