Prep Football To Kick Off Second Weekend

Sonora, CA — Plenty of prep football coming up this evening.
Coming off their season opening 22-20 win over Johansen, the Sonora High Wildcats will hit the road to meet Merced at Merced College. Last year Merced whipped the Wildcats 43-23. The kickoff is set for seven o´clock on STAR 92.7.
At Summerville, it´s Homecoming weekend as the 0-1 Bears host LeGrand. The Bears won last year´s matchup 20-14. Kickoff on 93.5 KKBN is set for 7:30.
1-0 Bret Harte will host Modesto Christian. A year ago the Bullfrogs were overwhelmed by Modesto Christian 56-20.
Calaveras will be at home to meet Weston Ranch. A year ago the Redskins won 33-29.
Oakdale will meet Beyer on the road this evening. Beyer won this matchup last year 31-19.
