AB-32 Will Be A Topic At Natural Resources Summit In Sonora
Sonora, Ca — The Seventh Annual Natural Resources Summit is all set for Friday morning at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds.
The event has been organized by State Senator Dave Cogdill, Assemblyman Tom Berryhill and Congressman George Radanovich.
“This year the central theme is forest management and the issues with AB 32, which is the landmark greenhouse legislation that the State of California passed last year,” says Cogdill. “The implementation and regulations that are going to come from that could have a pretty severe impact on natural resource industries.”
Speakers at the event will include CAL Fire Director Ruben G. Grijalva, Department of Water Resources Director Lester Snow, U.S. Forest Service Associate Chief Sally Collins and Texas A&M Professor Emeritus of Forest Science Dr. Tom Bonnicksen.
The Summit will begin at 8:45am, and it is open to the public.
