Tuolumne County Ambulance Will Honor First Responders For Life Saving Actions
Tuolumne, Ca — This weekend, Tuolumne County Ambulance Operations Manager Bill Caldera will present certificates to individuals responsible for saving the life of a woman who went into cardiac arrest at Black Oak Casino on December 1st.
Black Oak Medical personnel immediately responded and provided life saving CPR and defibrillation. Upon arrival of Tuolumne County Ambulance paramedics, the patient was awake and speaking. Tuolumne County Ambulance paramedics provided further advanced medical care while on scene and in route to the hospital. The quick actions resulted in the patient surviving the event.
According to Tuolumne County Ambulance, those that will be recognized this coming Sunday at 2pm at Black Oak Casino´s Willow Creek Lounge are EMTs April Lang, Thomas Cook and David Cook, and First Responders Curtis Leonard, Sherri James, Amy Andrada, and Daniel Harner.
