Hot Temperatures In Store For Mother Lode This Weekend

Sonora, CA — A big ridge of high pressure will build over the region through the weekend, causing temperatures to exceed 100 degrees.
The National Weather Service says strenuous activities outdoors should be reduced or moved to the coolest time of the day, which are the early morning hours.
Officials say residents should wear light weight, light colored clothing and drink plenty on non-alcoholic fluids.
