Sonora, CA — A winter storm warning remains in effect through 4AM Wednesday for the Sierra Nevada from Yosemite to Kings Canyon.
The National Weather Service reports the snow level will lower to 5,500 feet by Tuesday. By late Tuesday evening the snow level will bottom out at around 4,000 feet.
Accumulations of two to four feet of snow are possible over the higher elevations at and above 7,000 feet through Tuesday night. In addition, strong and gusty winds are predicted.
