Over 1000 Acres Burned Near Burson

The CDF says over a thousand acres have burned so far, after an RV caught fire, and the fire spread into nearby brush.

The location is at Pattison Road at the South Camanche Parkway near Burson in northwest Calaveras County, and lots of smoke is reportedly visible around Calaveras County.

There are no evacuations yet, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, but there are road closures at Burson Road at Highway 12 and Burson Road at Pattison Road.

Firefighters and the California Highway Patrol are at the scene, and the Stanislaus Hot Shot fire crew has also been dispatched.

The head of the fire has reached Highway 26, near La Contenta Golf Club in the Valley Springs area.

Structures are reportedly threatened. There´s no word on any structures which have been lost.
