Mother Lode Round-Up activities under way in earnest today. It´s the Great Steak Barbecue.

The annual cowboy feast at the Sheriff´s Posse Grounds on Rawhide Road in Jamestown starts at 3 p.m. and runs until 7 tonight. Then folks are encouraged to stick around for dancing to live county music starting at 8 p.m.

Round Up activities run through Mother´s Day weekend with the Queen Pageant, Band Review, Calcutta, Parade and Rodeo, amoung others, all on tap in the next few weeks.
