The California Highway Patrol will be conducting a DUI sobriety checkpoint in Calaveras County tonight.

The CHP says drunk driving related accidents have been on the rise in the San Andreas area over the past four years. Already this year, 43 DUI related collisions have been logged.

The DUI checkpoint will be set-up at an undisclosed location in Calaveras County from 6 p.m. until midnight tonight.
