Start Smart Program Offered in September
Sonora, CA– The Sonora area Highway Patrol will be offering a new driving program to new teen drivers and their parents in September.
The two hour class is designed to educate young drivers on the effects that poor decisions behind the wheel can lead to. CHP officials say that the leading cause of death for young Americans between the ages of 15-20 years of age is motor vehicle collisions.
The Program is called The Start Smart Program and the first class will be at the Sonora CHP office on September 27, 2006 at 6pm. Reservations are a must, due to the limited amount of spaces. For more information call the CHP office at 984-3944.
