Arrest Made In Tuolumne Rd. Accident

Sonora, CA — The driver who caused Wednesday afternoon´s three car accident on Tuolumne Road near Lambert Lake Rd. has been arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
A CHP official says the suspect is currently being treated at an area hospital for injuries sustained. The name of the suspect and the other victims are not available at this time.
The accident occurred around 12:40pm when the blue Dodge Ram pickup truck drove across the center line and sideswiped a Ford Explorer prior to hitting a Honda headon. Traffic was slowed for approximately 40 minutes.
