Livermore Man Charged In Boating Death

San Andreas, CA — A Livermore man is being charged with manslaughter resulting from a boating accident in August.
The Calaveras County District Attorney´s Office says Dennis Ray Lawrence of Livermore was driving the boat on Lake Tulloch at around midnight when it ran aground.
A passenger, 39-year-old Brett Graham, was pronounced dead at the scene. A second passenger was uninjured.
Charges for Lawrence include manslaughter with gross negligence and DUI in a boating vessel with injury.
An arraignment will be held at 2 p.m., November 7 in Department 2 of Calaveras County Superior Court.
