Skunk Causes Calaveras County Accident

San Andreas, CA — 28 year old Anacil Tracy of Mokelumne Hill may just go ahead and hit a skunk next time one is in her path.
According to a C.H.P. report, Tracey was a mile-and-a-half east of Montgomery Drive on Hwy 26 Friday morning when she attempted to avoid hitting a skunk. Traveling at approximately 45 mph in the rain, she swerved, lost control of her vehicle and ran off the road and over an embankment.
Tracy was treated at Mark Twain-St. Joseph Hospital for minor injuries.
