Jamestown, CA — Two men were arrested on a list of charges after over 481 grams of methamphetamine were confiscated.
Over recent weeks, the Tuolumne Narcotics Team has been investigating 61-year-old Dwayne Anhtony Rasler and 28-year-old Micah John Patrick McKinstry for allegedly selling methamphetamine in Tuolumne County. The two were pulled over last week by TNT detectives in the area of Stockton Road in Sonora. Inside their vehicle was a loaded gun and two grams of methamphetamine. Rasler’s home in Jamestown was soon searched, and detectives found 481 grams of meth, packaging materials, and drug paraphernalia. A third person, 48-year-old Ivan Leo Larson was located in a shed on the property and arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
We reported in 2017, that Rasler was also arrested on drug charges back then following a search at his home in the 18000 block of Vista Drive.
At the conclusion of the recent investigation, Rasler and McKinstry were placed under arrest for methamphetamine sales and transportation. Rasler was also arrested for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
The amount of methamphetamine located has a street value of approximately—$ 9,600.00 ($20.00/gram).
