Calaveras Begins Roadside Spraying

San Andreas, CA — Roadside weed spraying is underway in the western portion of Calaveras County.
The Public Works Department has begun its seasonal roadside vegetation management program.
Round-up and Milestone will be used for spray.
Public Works says the goal of the program is to maintain safe roads without causing detrimental effects to individuals who may be sensitive to the spray.
Residents who do not want spraying near their property should contact Public Works in writing at 891 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas, CA 95249 or email Public Works.
