Vandals Arrested For School Damage

San Andreas, CA — Two men have been arrested on vandalism charges to the San Andreas Elementary School and Calaveras High School.

The Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department says 21-year old Dillon Martin and 20-year old Kenny Monteer, both of San Andreas, are being charged with felony vandalism due to the extent of the damage.

Reportedly several windows were broken and a vehicle was damaged at the high school early Wednesday morning. Exact figures are not available yet but damage is estimated at several thousand dollars.

A witness identified one of the subjects saying they had chased two subjects away from the elementary school at 1 a.m.

Monteer was also booked on an outstanding warrant in Amador County.
