Board Of Supervisors To Close Out 2006 Meetings Today

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will conduct their final 2006 meeting today at the County Administration Center.

Among other items, the Board will consider approving a franchise agreement with Comcast Cable. That is exactly what the city did Monday evening.

In addition, the Board will consider approving the referral to the County´s Historic Preservation Commission for recommendation of nomination of Courthouse Square to the National Registry of Historic Places.

At 11am there will be consideration of a resolution to amend the general plan land use designation for the Me-Wuk Indians and their plans for the proposed Cherry Valley Golf Club. The Community Development Department has already given the green light to to the project with the understanding that there will be a general plan amendment and zone change for the project.
