Reward Offered In Missing Ripon Woman Case
Ripon, CA — A $15,000 reward is being offered for information in the disappearance of a 46-year-old Ripon woman missing since Wednesday afternoon.
Police say Mary Teresa Starkey was last seen negotiating the sale of a boat.
Deputies say Starkey left her home in East River at about 2:30 Wednesday with a man who came to her home to express interest in the boat and trailer parked in front of the house.
The man reportedly told Starkey that he didn´t have enough cash, so the two apparently left in separate cars to go to the man´s bank.
Authorities say Starkey hasn´t been seen since. Starkey is five-feet-five-inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes.
The man she allegedly left with is described as Latino, in his forties, clean-shaven and with a tattoo of a bird on his arm.
He was reportedly wearing a leather beanie cap with a red stripe and dark blue clothing. He was driving a rose-colored minivan.
Starkey was last seen driving a tan 1997 Saturn sedan four-door. Anyone who may have information is advised too call the San Joaquin County Sheriff´s department or Detective John Basalto at 209-468-4400
