Burglars Target Unoccupied Homes

Calaveras County Sheriff´s investigators are on the lookout for whoever has been breaking into unoccupied cabins and homes near Arnold.
A Sheriff´s spokeswoman says several vacant residences have been burglarized in the area since the onset of the new year. Most of the homes targeted have been vacation homes without anyone living in them. A small amount of electronics equipment was taken from one of the homes. Authorites believe there may have been over a dozen break-ins since Christmas. Burglars snatched a high-priced mountain bike and a set of golf clubs from a Blue Lake Springs residence on February 11th.
