Roads Remain Icy

Icy roads still permeate the Mother Lode. Several minor vehicle accidents yesterday kept law enforcement busy in Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties. A 66 year old Missouri man was lucky to avoid injury when his Buick left the roadway and landed in a ditch off of Highway 26 outside of San Andreas yesterday. At least two separate non-injury crashes near Sonora may have been related to ice on the roadway this morning. Mostly fair and dry weather is forecast for the Mother Lode into the weekend.
