Search Called Off For Missing Hiker
Yosemite National Park, CA — Yosemite Park Officials have called off the search for a lost hiker still missing in Yosemite National Park.
According to Adrienne Freeman with the park there have been no new developments over the past few weeks in the search for 51-year-old Michael Ficery.
In the beginning of the search Freeman says the rescuers scoured an area of deep snow, heavy timber, steep slopes and swift waters ranging in elevation from 4,000 to 9,000 feet.
Freeman says that although there are no longer professional teams on the ground and in the air, the search is not completely over.

Everyone who visits the park is informed that there is a missing person.
She also says the flyer with Ficary´s picture on it is still being distributed. Ficery was reportedly camping alone when he went missing June 15th.
