Valley Springs Man Injured In Rollover Accident

Valley Springs, CA — A 45-year-old valley Springs man is recovering from moderate injuries after a single vehicle rollover accident on Highway 26 yesterday.
CHP says Kevin Meehan was traveling westbound at about 50 miles per hour when his tires drifted onto the right side shoulder.
Meehan than apparently over corrected and lost control of the vehicle which slid into the oncoming lane and rolled coming to rest on its roof.
Meehan reportedly stayed in the vehicle until he was removed by rescue personnel.
He was taken to Mark Twain St. Joseph´s Hospital for treatment. Police say Meehan´s seatbelt use saved him from more serious injury.
