Radanovich Pleased At Passage Of Energy Bill
Sonora, CA — Congressman George Radanovich says its been a productive legislative session so far.
He says one of his more significant accomplishments is helping to secure the passage of House Resolution 6,which is the house energy bill.
He says the bill is designed to provide incentives for fuel producers to find ways to reduce American dependence on foreign oil.
Some of those incentives encourage the production of Ethanol and Methanol, which is a very clean burning fuel that can be produced from other California agricultural products such as corn and orchard prunings.
It also encourages research for fuel cell technology and infrastructure for alternate fuels that are produced in the United States.
Radonovich was spending part of the legislative recess in the KVML studio Tuesday to record the next edition of Mother Lode Views.
That program can be heard this Sunday morning on AM 1450 KVML at 6:00am, Star 92.7 at 9:00am, and 93.5 KKBN at 10:00am.
