Stockton Man Seriously Injured In Highway 26 Motorcycle Accident

San Andreas, CA — A Stockton man is recovering from serious injuries after a motorcycle accident yesterday.
CHP says 72-year-old Edward Ocie was riding with a passenger, 59-year-old Beverly Slaver, eastbound on Highway 26 near Deardorf Road just before 11:30 in the morning when a dog ran into the road.
Police say the motorcycle hit the dog which caused Ocie and Slaver to be knocked from the bike.
The dog was reportedly killed in the accident.
Ocie was airlifted to Doctor´s Medical Center in Modesto with major injuries. Slaver was transported to Mark Twain St. Joseph´s Hospital with minor injuries.
