Valley Springs Man Gets Seven Years For Elder Abuse

San Andreas, CA — Alan Deyarmon will serve seven years in prison for abusing his 91-year-old mother.
Monday Deyarmon was sentenced in Calaveras County court just seven days after pleading no contest to charges of elder abuse.
In June Deyarmon and his wife Rosie were arrested at their home in La Contenta after his mother was found there close to death.
Those on the scene said the elderly woman was naked and covered with bedsores, bugs and rodent excrement.
Rosie Deyarmon is set to stand trial December 8.
