Lotto Wants Bigger Prizes, Less To Schools

California Lottery officials are pushing legislation that would cut the percentage of the games´ revenues guaranteed to schools and up the amount paid in prizes. The idea is that bigger prizes will generate greater customer interest and increase sales.
