Sonora, CA — A Modesto Police Department officer was arrested in Tuolumne County regarding an off-duty domestic violence incident.
The alleged crime occurred this past March, and the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office was made aware of it on Saturday by the Modesto PD, and conducted its own independent investigation.
Officer Solomon Foketi, a four-year veteran of the Modesto Police Department, was arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats, false imprisonment, and misdemeanor domestic violence. Foketi was booked into the Tuolumne County Jail. The sheriff’s office notes that it is an ongoing investigation and no additional information is immediately available.
